With the combined effort and expertise of our talented team, UCPath manages human resources transactions for more than 230,000 UC employees working across ten campuses, six medical centers, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and more.

The employee services team is the voice of UCPath to UC employees. This is the professional and caring team that answers when employees call with questions or submit questions online. This customer-obsessed team never stops learning about payroll, HR and benefits.
The payroll team issues pay for more than 230,000 employees from every UC location. This team works closely with every UC location’s payroll team to ensure employees get paid accurately and on time. Team members are laser-focused on accuracy and getting the details right when it comes to employee pay.
The benefits team manages updates to UC employee benefit plans and options, such as during open enrollment, for job changes or for the addition of a new family member. These team members are experts in understanding benefit eligibility rules and ensuring employees receive all the benefits to which they are entitled.
Workforce Administration (HR)
The workforce administration team updates UC employee data throughout an employee’s UC career, from their initial hire to promotions and job changes all the way through their transition to retirement. The team works closely with the UCPath payroll and benefits teams and with partners at all UC locations to ensure accurate employee data. Members of the workforce administration team are great communicators, detail-oriented and know how to get the job done accurately.
Information Technology (IT)
The IT team supports the wide variety of technology used at UCPath, including PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Talkdesk, Onbase, desktop systems and any new solution that joins the UCPath portfolio. This is a team of brilliant technologists, business analysts, systems analysts, project managers and others who commit themselves to finding the best technology solutions for UCPath.
The product management team collaborates with UCPath business owners, customers, policymakers and technology experts to ensure UCPath meets UC’s business needs now and in the future. This customer-facing team meshes business needs with tools available today and those coming down the road to ensure UCPath continuously evolves.
The finance team manages the full spectrum of financial activity for UCPath, including budgeting and analysis, payroll and general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, tax filing and audit management. These team members bring their financial expertise and passion for accuracy to ensure the highest level of stewardship for UC’s human and financial resources.
The training team creates and delivers training resources for UCPath team members as well as those in the UC system who utilize UCPath. The team works closely with subject matter experts and leverages superb instructional design skills to create training that sticks.
